Another store in Maxwell was also branded as "Food Basket" instead of becoming a Stripes.

Possibly Handy Andy ever so briefly, then closed and became Hastings. That's what I think the chronology is. Appears to have been built in the 1980s.

Mystic Marks is the best shop I've ever seen! The artists are friendly and the shop is designed like a theme park! A definate must see for San Marcos

  • Sewell Park, katria (guest) wrote 16 years ago:
I suffer from a love-hate relationship with this Park. It's a great place to get away from th hustle and bustle in between class and go tanning. But at the same time, it does NOT tap the beauty of the surrounding Hill Country. However, I do appreciate that the water is clear Spring Water, and that it stays the same temp all year round.

Confirmed it's closed down. What a shame!
  • Butler Hall, Don, a co-founder of 309 (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
Butler Hall enjoyed a golden age between 2001 to 2004 in which a classic group of people created one of the best college communities ever established. Aided by many and lead by two, the one and only 309 spread joy, cheer, mischief, and maybe more than a little bit of rowdy party going. Anyone lucky enought to be part of the fun or close to the action, will remember the 309 forever and the spirit of the 309 will live on.
